The world often asks a lot of our hearts. Seems we could all use more moments that allow our souls to breathe.

Not the kind that waits for everything to be perfect, but the kind that slips in anyway.
Not the kind that pretends life isn’t hard, but the kind that simply refuses to let hardship have the final word.
Not the kind that ignores life’s thorns, but the kind that also notices the good things that still make life so beautiful.
There’s enough in this world competing for your attention and your energy. I hope joy competes successfully, and wins.
And when it finds you, I hope you pause, smile, and let it linger more than a little while.
